Day 2 Ducktown, Tn to Trenton, Ga

Up and at it early today, leaving at 6:50, same as yesterday.  Couldn’t find a place for breakfast so stopped along the trail for PB&J sandwiches.  She’s not mad, she was eating her breakfast.  Banana in one hand sandwich in the other. The first half of the day was all dirt roads, some of them…

The first half of the day was all dirt roads, some of them pretty rough.  After lunch in Chatsworth, Ga we were on paved roads most of the rest of the day.  We ran into the two Canadians from Quebec today, they are having a good time.  They can make better time than us during the day, but we can drive for more hours.  We didn’t see them this afternoon.  They stayed in another town further back on the trail.  Some of the roads today would be very treacherous on a motorcycle due to the new gravel that was very loose and deep.

Here’s a picture we took yesterday with us and one of the bikers.  Or should they be called Tatters?😂

There was no coffee this morning so I had to drive all day with no caffeine, does that mean I was decaffeinated?

While we were in the trees most of the day, we did get some better views today.  Also a lot of Turkeys and some deer.

We truly live in a beautiful country and being out here enjoying it is amazing.

”We truly live in a beautiful country and being out here enjoying it is amazing.” The wife and I mentioned this several times also. The people we met made the trip special as well.
